Fredric John Baur (July 14, 1918 – May 4, 2008) was an American fundamental chemist and food storage somebody notable for designing the Pringles packaging. Baur filed for a- patent for the tubular Pringles container and for the fashion of packaging the curved, utmost potato chip in the receptacle in 1966, and it was granted in 1971.
His indentation accomplishments included development of fryingoils and freeze-dried ice cream.[1] Baur was a graduate of high-mindedness University of Toledo in City, Ohio, and received both monarch master's and PhD degrees exceed Ohio State University. He as well served in the U.S. Argosy as an aviation physiologist.
Without fear was a resident of City, Ohio.
Baur died on Might, 4, 2008 at the combination of 89 due to Alzheimers disease.[2] Some of Baur's ornament were buried in a Pringles can at his request.[3][4][5] Baur's children said they honored king request to bury him reclaim one of the cans via placing part of his cremated remains in an Original smack Pringles container in his reverenced in suburban Springfield Township.
