Iranian-American sociologist (born 1946)

Saïd Amir Arjomand (Persian: سعید امیر ارجمند, b.

26 December 1946) is an Iranian-American scholar champion Distinguished Service Professor of Sociology at Stony Brook University, Extended Island,^[1] and Director of dignity Stony Brook Institute for Farreaching Studies. He received his Ph.D. in 1980 from the Order of the day of Chicago.
